NIKE JORDAN WESTBROOK WHY NOT ZER0.2

Russell Westbrook has come a long way since signing with Jordan Brand back over six years ago. The do-it-all backcourt dynamo first joined the roster at the start of the 2012 season, but things have really accelerated over the last year after the former MVP signed a massive decade-long deal to stay with the Jumpman. Since that extension, he dropped a signature shoe as well as two off-the-court lifestyle silhouettes, and he’s at the cusp of launching his second in-game model called the Why Not Zer0.2. These official images reveal a highly deconstructed approach to the model as nearly each sector of the build can be distinguished with different materials, with the mid-foot panel, exterior heel, and exposed tags/labels lending to the aesthetic. Even the sole is comprised of two separate pieces, bridged together by an exposed mid-foot plate. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the design is the tapered heel, reminiscent of Nike’s speedy Zoom Fly running footwear series, and diamond-etched padding on the emphatic ankle padding.

NIKE KYRIE 5 "BRED"

Since the debut of Kyrie Irving’s fifth signature shoe, we’ve already seen a few collaborations as well as some college player exclusives.
Now adding to the lineup is an upcoming “Bred”-like University Red and Black colorway. This Nike Kyrie 5 features a full Black-based upper with Red contrasting accents on the tongues, insoles, and heel counter. A Grey speckled midsole with Black and Red returning on the outsole completes the design.

NIKE AIR JORDAN 12 “CHINESE NEW YEAR”

The Air Jordan 12 has always been an interesting shoe. With its clean construction and premium materials, many sneakerheads have always gravitated towards the high-top silhouette. This year, the Jordan 12 made a variety of appearances on retail shelves, including retro releases like the “Taxi” makeup, and also a few new ones, like the Japanese-inspired “International Flight” colorway. Now, Jordan Brand is planning on using the 12 to help bring in the new year, with a special “Chinese New Year” colorway. The upper of this pair appears to be made from a smooth velvet and dyed all in black. The protective toe guard comes in white with a gold accent for the Jumpman branding on the sides. Gold also adorns the upper lace eyelets, rounding out the CNY theme. Finally, the inner lining of these Air Jordan 12s features a colorful red-based pattern to complete the look.
The premium new take on the Air Jordan 12 will release sometime in January 2019, at sole4souls.com . 100% ORIGINAL.

NIKE AIR JORDAN 6 RETRO “DIFFUSED BLUE”

The Air Jordan 6 is one of the brand’s most coveted models. When retro releases roll around, fans of the original releases are always around to pick up a pair, which means that Jordan Brand is happy to keep making great new colorways. This month, a long time rumor has finally been confirmed as true with official images of an Air Jordan 6 retro, originally thought to be a Jimmy Butler PE. While the colors are certainly made to match Jimmy’s former team, the Timberwolves, he has since moved onto the Philadelphia 76ers, negating the possibility of his name being attached to this pair. Nonetheless, Jordan Brand made the pairs, and so a release is imminent. The new Air Jordan 6 colorway begins with a smooth leather upper dyed entirely in a faded “diffused blue” tone. The main color is accented by a more vibrant blue, which appears around the sole unit and tongue branding.

NIKE AIR JORDAN 1 “SPORTS ILLUSTRATED”

Jordan Brand has been going pretty hard with their Air Jordan 1 High colorways this year. We have already seen the return of some of the greatest OG color schemes so far, as well as the debuts of many more new looks for the legendary silhouette. While not every pair is given a special backstory or historic theme, plenty of them do and this week, we have a closer look at what’s coming next. The next themed Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG may be one of the most intricate colorways we’ve seen in recent memory. The new look is designed to commemorate Michael Jordan’s first Sport’s Illustrated cover from his Rookie of the Year Award win in 1985.
The cover features a photo of young Mike, tongue out, blasting past Milwaukee Bucks defenders Mike Dunleavy and Sidney Moncrief for a layup. Emblazoned across the cover, in Bucks colors, are the words “A Star is Born”, a phrase that heavily inspired the new Jordan 1 High “Sports Illustrated”. The shoe begins with a plain white base for the main paneling, held together by beautiful tumbled leather at the seams. The 1’s signature Swoosh is dyed in a series of green stripes to match the Bucks’ uniforms on the SI cover, while a red outline and detailing on the Jordan Wings logo completes the jersey-inspired look. Finally, the Nike Air tongue tags come in black, white and red to make them pop. Similar to Virgil Abloh’s Off-White collaboration, this Jordan 1 High will feature unstitched eyelets at the top of the shoe, allowing them to fold out. Each side displays one half of the “A Star is Born” motto, accompanied by Dec. 10, 1984, the date of the Sports’ Illustrated issue.

NIKE LEBRON 16 “SUPERBRON”

Nike Basketball dresses the LeBorn 16 in the “Superman” color scheme as a nod to the original LeBron 3 PE from 2005.
Back in 2016, LeBron James revealed a new version of the “Superman” LeBron 3, which never ended up releasing. Now the popular color blocking returns onto the Nike LeBron 16.
Known as the LeBron 16 SB, the shoe features a White BattleKnit upper with Varsity Royal patent leather overlays. Other details includes Yellow and Varsity Red accents to complete the “Superman” theme.
