LeBron James Rumor: Did Cavs Star Tell Dwyane Wade That He’s Returning To Miami Heat?

LeBron James has been a hero, a villain, and then again a hero to the people of Cleveland, but if the latest rumors are true, then he might be entering into super villain territory.
On Christmas Day, Lebron’s new team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, faced off against his former team, the Miami Heat. As the game came to a close and the Cavs wrapped up the victory, LeBron greeted his friend and former teammate Dwyane Wade, and appeared to give away a major hint about his future.
As some sharp-eyed viewers noted, James appeared to tell Wade that he could be returning to the Miami Heat if the Cavaliers aren’t able to get over the hump this season.
In the clip, James appeared to say, “Like I said, if we aren’t better this year, we’re gonna re-unite again and do some bigger and better things, alright?”
The LeBron James rumor may be deep in conspiracy theory land. James decided to opt out of the Heat this season so he could return to Cleveland, which LeBron said was his plan all along. For him to so abruptly change his mind would seem odd.
Even if LeBron James was thinking about leaving the Cavaliers, the “reunion” with Wade might not necessarily take place in South Beach. Both players have an option for the upcoming season, and as free agents, they could reunite somewhere else.
Now, even LeBron James himself is trying to put the brakes on the rumors. He explained that while he did tell Wade he was looking forward to reuniting, LeBron said it had nothing to do with basketball.
