One of the more underrated concepts from Jordan Brand in 2015 is the release of the “Rare Air” versions of the Air Jordan 1. This is an homage to one of the early samples of the first-ever Jordan sneaker by Nike, which featured this type of Air Jordan typefont in place of the revolutionary Wings logo. Another dope touch to this upcoming Holiday release is the metallic sheen on the Swoosh on collar, which are a nod (perhaps intentional) to the original Metallic colorways of the AJ1. The shoe features a full Black-based tumbled and smooth leather upper with Bronze detailing on the tongue, ‘Air Jordan’ embossing, ankle collar, Nike Swoosh logos and outsole.
