After shaking and baking on the court on the way to the 2017 NBA Championship and Finals MVP honors, Kevin Durant certainly isn’t too worried about any of his critics who called him a “cupcake” for leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder. That seems to be a point no-so-subtly hinted at for the next Nike KD 10 in a “Red Velvet” colorway—complete with actual cupcakes for the Nike promo shot.
Looking closer at this Nike KD 10, they feature a clean University Red, Black and White color scheme. Across the Flyknit uppers is the use of Red while the same shade covers the tongue, laces and within the full length Zoom Air unit. Following we have Black which lands on the overlays, KD branding and speckled detailing. Completing the look is White which is applied to the Nike Swoosh, midsole and outsole.
